 | Taipei, Taiwan In progress |
 | Click on image to enlarge This slender tower, elliptical in plan, will become the symbolic heart of a large residential community currently under development on a splendid hillside site northwest of Taipei. Centered on a view axis that extends across the Tan Shui River toward the revered mountain of Kwan Yin, the building's clear and simple form will rise above its
neighbors to serve as a focal point for the surrounding area. Balconies edged by continuous sunshades encircle the tower to form a multi-story façade of sheltering roof-forms that evoke the traditional architecture of Taiwan. |
