As
one of the design partners at Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, Ms. Szeto has contributed significantly to the firm's work since joining the office in 1977. She is responsible for some of the firm's corporate headquarters buildings, most notably the International Monetary Fund Headquarters 2 in Washington, D.C (2005) and the Head Office for ABN-AMRO Bank, Amsterdam (1999). Ms. Szeto is Partner in Charge of Design for the Federal Reserve Bank Headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri (2008);
Headquarters for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris (2008); Edmund D. Bossone Research Enterprise Center at Drexel University in Philadelphia (2005); and Master Plan of the Beijing Central Business District (2004). Selected works in which Ms. Szeto played a leading design role include: First Bank Place in Minneapolis, Minnesota (1992); Le Grand Louvre in Paris, France (1989); and the Allied Bank Tower at Fountain Place, Dallas (1986).
Current projects for which Ms. Szeto is serving as design partner include the NASCAR Hall of Fame and Museum, and the NASCAR Corporate Plaza office tower in Charlotte, North Carolina; Virginia Tech Institute for Critical Technology & Applied Science in Blacksburg, Virginia; and Fiterman Hall for the City University of New York. |
